At the time, Gertie was one of the few women in this growing area and found some brokers to be condescending. Not Kevin however, who proved to be different and has been Gertie’s mortgage adviser over the last 10 years. He has helped her remortgage as her business has grown around the UK.
From an initial property in the London area, she now owns seven London HMO’s and two apartments in Newcastle, housing forty-five tenants. She has also built up a network of tradespeople, solicitors and two part-time members of staff, ensuring she delivers an exceptional level of service to her tenants.
