Meet The Team

Kevin is the founder of KMC Financial and brings over 15 years of experience to the business. Over the years he has dealt with many types of property investments, and he particularly enjoys the challenges of working in a constantly changing market. His motivation is to support people through a really important time in their lives, be it buying a home to live in or investing in property.

His career path started working for a secured lender before becoming a mortgage packager, liaising between brokers and lenders to finalise offers. Having gained his qualifications, he worked for a variety of banks and building societies, becoming an expert in customer-focused call centres processing mortgage applications and managing teams of 100+ staff. He then went on to work as a mortgage broker before founding Bluechip Financial in 2007 where he specialised in HMO lending.

Kevin decided to set up KMC Financial because this achieves his long term aim of working closer to home and planning a future for his daughter Marie, who is a qualified mortgage adviser in her own right.

Outside of work, Kevin is a very keen golfer and football fan. If you don’t find him on the golf course, chances are he’ll be following AFC Bournemouth, particularly as they go into the Premier League next season. Kevin lives locally with his wife and two daughters.

Marie kickstarted her career in the financial industry as a mortgage administrator in 2016 and obtained her mortgage advice qualifications in the same year. She then moved on to work for Nationwide Building Society as a personal banking manager with a mission to obtain further knowledge of the financial market and support those in all walks of life. Missing the mortgage market, Marie then joined The Mortgage Works as a buy to let mortgage consultant for four years, helping both first time and experienced landlords build and manage their portfolio.

She now joins KMC Financial for the opportunity to break out from the limitations of working directly for a lender and offer a more tailored service.

Marie is a lover of snow sports and enjoys both ski and snowboarding, although based in Dorset, she spends more time at the seaside on a normal day outside of work. 

Kelvin joined Barclays Bank straight from school in 1988 and worked in several roles from back-office duties up to Branch Manager and most recently in a Premier Relationship Manager role. Over a fifteen-year period he formed long-term professional relationships with a portfolio of private clients who he helped and advised in all areas of their finances.  

Following changes and the structure of the banking world, Kelvin has now taken the opportunity to work outside a large high street lender and to bring his wealth of experience of helping clients and building relationships to the mortgage broking world with KMC Financial. He wants to help clients on their mortgage journey, to achieve their financial goals now and in the future. 

When not at work Kelvin enjoys being active with his son, either in the gym, playing tennis or basketball. 

Ashley has worked in the Financial Industry since 2012. In 2016 he joined NatWest Bank where he was a Relationship Manager supporting a portfolio of clients in becoming financially fitter in all areas of their finances. 

During his spell at NatWest Ashley gained multiple financial qualifications which he is now looking forward to using the experience and qualifications he has gained over the past 10 years to support the clients of KMC Financial. 

Ashley is delighted to join KMC Financial, a local business in a town where he has lived and enjoyed for 30 plus years. If you don't see Ashley at work, you will see him at local Fishing Lakes, taking in the iconic countryside’s that West Sussex has to offer.
